Pushed through the ugly phase.
We wanted to try out fur in blender for quite some time. This is our first attempt. Or to be more precise what we endet up with after starting over several times, tweaking all possible parameters, in all possible directions and almost throwing it in the #folderofnoreturn.

Members of the maker community might find some resemblance with one of our favorite role models in the maker world. An this resemblance isn’t coincidental! The maker we are talking about is known as @themakermonster. The reason he is one of the most inspiring and motivating YouTuber we follow, is the fact that he struggles with the same problems EVERY CREATIVE does but speaks openly about his fears and search for meaning.
We knew that everytime you try out something new, the high phase in the beginning is followed by some sort of ugly phase. A phase of self doubt, the will to stop and start something new. The Maker Monster was the one who made us aware of this point, that’s an integral part in EVERY PROJECT and gave us the confidence to overcome it.
