SNASKSEUM
A rebellious design explosion in perhaps the smallest design museum in the world!
In a creative prank that is entirely in the spirit of Snask, MULTI AWESOME STUDIO has transformed its own loo into the world’s first Snask-Museum. This crazy and inspiring idea came from a humorous exchange on LinkedIn, when Snask announced in a post that they had turned their bathroom into the world’s smallest Will Ferrell museum to lure him into their office.
A comment from us asking them if they would come to our studio if we turned our toilet into a museum about Snask was promptly answered with “of course” – and so the idea for the SNASKSEUM was born!
ABOUT MAS AND SNASK
MULTI AWESOME STUDIO is known for exceptional visual communication solutions and creative projects that combine humor, aesthetics and attention to detail. With work for brands from Nike to Greenpeace and projects that have made it into international publications such as Lürzer’s Archiv and Gizmodo, the studio brings a breath of fresh air to the design world. The idea for the SNASKSEUM is another example of how important it is to give creativity space and to follow even the craziest ideas. You never know what wonderful things will come out of it.
SNASK: The rebellious design superstars from Sweden are known worldwide for their unconventional approach to design and creativity. With projects for international brands such as Spotify, Meta and Microsoft and their philosophy that you have to make enemies to win fans, they have built up an unprecedented international fan base. Their talks at the world’s major design festivals are always extremely well attended. Their visit to Hallein is therefore not only a highlight for the studio, but also puts the small town on a list with metropolises such as Mexico City, Sydney or Toronto.
OPENING
The opening of the SNASKSEUM took place on Monday, November 18, 2024, in our studio in Hallein. And as if that wasn’t enough, Snask himself traveled from Sweden to be there on this special day and not only open the museum, but also give an exclusive talk.
This extraordinary event was aimed at creatives, design lovers and rebels of all kinds and attracted numerous Snask fans from all over the world. These included people from Linz, Berlin, Slovakia, Ukraine, South Africa and India.
Freddie Öst and Erik Kockum gave the guests an insight into the wild and creative world of Snask. This was followed by the presentation of their new book, which incidentally also mentions the SNASKSEUM. You can find their talk here. The event ended with an exuberant after-party with drinks and good vibes.
