Yes, our skills are like a Swiss Army knife.

But you might be thinking: there are also “real” knives with better blades. A real screwdriver is much easier to handle. Similarly, just like tiny scissors don’t cut sheet metal as well as tin snips.

But you could argue the same:

While this may be true,  the sharpest knife won’t help you much if the task at hand isn’t just about cutting. For example, the tiny scissors are perfect for fine details in paper. However try that with a pair of tin snips instead. What’s the corkscrew for? Well, for that, we’d have to ask Donna.
